Rotato : there might be one person who has any idea what this means. They're not talking. Rotato is used in charming portmanteaus (serioustato, fuckoffatato, protato, etc).
FOL : a warm and friendly goodbye to folks who are logging off for the night. Short for Fuck Off Lightweight. [attr. to Cyrano]
HUGS! : the warm embrace of a pyro's flames. HUGS! [attr to Hugecranium]
John McCain : well, John McCain, basically. He's old, and he wears underpants.
Underpants : See John McCain.
He who forgets X is doomed to repeat X: wonderchicken's ploy to make CitrusFreak's head explode. Where X is pretty much whatever.
Rivertamming it : See River Tam, or better yet, watch the entire Firefly series.
AMF : Adios Mother Fucker. Alt to FOL, avoids confusion of people saying "night" and then failing to conform to expectations. Also a double-black diamond run at Snowmass, Colorado.
"BAD TOUCH!" : Who the hell knows.
"I got a Rock." : Ref. Charlie Brown Halloween Special
"SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU MEET A STRANGER IN THE ALPS?" : Edited for television version of a line from The Big Lebowski, a canonical mefight film [Attr. Anfinder]
Bees: There's also something about bees. Stavros doesn't care for them.
"I'm a Shaaark! I'm a SHAAARK...." : Metamonk mutters this when acting stabby; unfortunately, now on allchat. From a popular web cartoon.
YOUR MOM : Yes, your mom. She might be a nice lady and all, but.
(You can) suck it, X: where X is 'RED', 'BLU' or UserName. Not meant to be mean, merely a non-aggro expression of love and butterfly kisses, even if usually uttered while nearing ragequit levels of annoyance. Often directed towards Spies and/or Snipers. Most memorably used by Lohmann in metatalk.
"X is out of control!" : Mainly applied to Benji after he was targeted by a rage-filled ex-MeFighter who was mid-flameout.
"Strike one, Nancy, strike one." : Attr to Davesecretaryatwork, a nonmefighter with a considerable following. Usually said after egregious, totally over-the-line, unforgivable transgression.
"Go back to MASSACHUSETTS!" : From a short vid created by Xorry, memorializing Lohmann, Citrus, and Kimberly Spank Truck's in-game conversation. Oh yeah, mashed up with, inter alia, Full Metal Jacket.
"1/23 - Never Forget" and "The Inept2 Maneuver" : From an early game where Inept2 suggested that all blues switch to engy instead of attacking on Dustbowl. The entire red team was drawn away from defending the last cap point in order to take a look at the HUGE SENTRY FARM they created, whereupon a sneaky spy capped the point.
Joni's Left 4 Dead achievements : She doesn't have any of them.
